In 2013, Coach Colace was inducted into National Hall of Fame, Massachusetts Chapter. Recently, in the Spring of 2017 his Franklin High School Team was inducted into Hall of Fame as well. Franklin was dubbed as the Team of the Decade "1990's" His Franklin High Teams won 7 State Titles and were runner-ups twice from 1989-90 to the 1999-2000 seasons. In the picture to the left are 3 State Champions from the 1999 Team, Rob Griffin, Dana Bullukian and Mike Cialella. That Team was over 100 point ahead after the first day of the State tournament n 1999 !!
New England Gold will develop wrestlers from start to finish. We offer programs from Novice to advanced. Wrestling for youth, elementary, middle school and high school. Along with a travel team for those who want to test the waters.
Nick Flannery to the right, a University of Buffalo Wrestler. Was just added to our staff. Nick wrestled 4 years as a starter and winning over 100 matches at the Division 1 level. Nick was also an NCAA Qualifier. While at Framingham H.S., Nick was a State and New England Champion.
Mike Capone, below, another terrific Coach. Mike was a Woburn H.S graduate. After his college wrestling career and graduating from Rhode Island College, Coach Capone came back to Woburn and guided the Tanners to their first and only State Title. Capone was a Boston Globe Coach of the Year as well. With Coach C, Capone, Flannery and with the rest of our Club Coaches, we have one of best over-all staffs in New England
During Coach Colace's 35 year Career at Franklin high School as the head Varsity coach. He is credited with coaching over 1,200 wrestlers. This includes 3 National Champs, 20 All-Americans, 38 State Champions, 28 New England Champions/place winners and over 90 Sectional Champions. These credits do not include all the Wrestlers he helped train at New England Gold.

Bob is our head youth coach. Besides coaching wrestling, Bob is also a football coach in the King Philip Youth program. One of the best fundamentalist in coaching wrestling in the area. Bob adds a ton of experience to our Staff

Jake wrestled at Canastota High School in Section 3 of New York State.The biggest thing I learned in high school was how to be apart of a winning team. He wrestled at the College at Brockport for four years and was a 3 year starter & Nationally Ranked at 285

Scott is a former D1 scholarship athlete and ex minor league player. Baseball was his game. For the past 15 years, Scott has been an assistant coach at B-R and Franklin HS. Scott has developed him into a very valuable cog of the wrestling Juggernaut at Franklin HS. Scott understand the what it takes to get to the next level.
Bob is the guy that is always on hand to help in any way he can. Bob is a New York Wrestler from Long Island. He was also a 4 year starter in College. Bob adds a ton of experience and always has great advice. Bob is a valued Coach at NE Gold
